We encourage inquiries from prospective graduate students with research interests in applied forest ecology. In particular, we seek students with a passion for forest science, a strong work ethic, and a desire to collaborate on applied research. Our program offers the MS and PhD in Environment and Natural Resources and students may begin graduate studies here in January, May, or August. Our graduate students are funded as Fellows, Graduate Teaching Assistants, or Graduate Research Assistants. These are competitively awarded positions that carry stipends, health insurance, and tuition remission. To express interest contact us and please include a CV or resume, unofficial transcripts, and most importantly explain why you want to join our lab. We strive to provide an intellectually stimulating and nurturing environment where new discoveries and lifelong friendships are made. We emphasize the collective and believe the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts. You can get a feel for life in and outside the lab from our social media sites.
